LOS ANGELES, Oct 19, 2010 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- AECOM Technology Corporation (NYSE: ACM), a leading provider of professional technical and management support services for government and commercial clients around the world, announced today that it has been awarded a US$20-million task order from the U.S. General Services Administration's (GSA) Public Buildings Service to provide Electronic Project Management (ePM) system administration support and training.
The task order has a four-month transition period, one base year and three one-year options for operations. The contract started on Sept. 13, 2010.
AECOM and its sub-consultant, Meridian Systems, will provide GSA with ePM national system administration and end-user support at GSA's central office as well as regional system administration and training in all 11 GSA regions.
Meridian System's Proliance ePM software is an integrated, Web-based program management solution that manages both documents and data, creating one central database for all project information. It can manage project budgets and contracts, track project control data and documents, review and log drawings, enable collaboration among project teams through the Internet and analyze overview information from multiple projects and locations in one database.
