|AECOM wins contract for design and construction of the Liantang-Heung Yuen Wai Boundary Control Point in Hong Kong|
LOS ANGELES, Apr 28, 2011 (BUSINESS WIRE) --
AECOM Technology Corporation (NYSE: ACM), a leading provider of professional technical and management support services for government and commercial clients around the world, announced today that it has won a contract for the design and construction management of the Liantang-Heung Yuen Wai Boundary Control Point (BCP) from the Civil Engineering and Development Department of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government.
AECOM's fees are approximately US$13 million for the design and construction management services it will provide.
This project will comprise an approximately 6.8-mile-long, dual two-lane trunk road between Hong Kong's northeastern New Territories and the Luohu district of Shenzhen on mainland China, as well as site formation and infrastructure works for the development of the new BCP within an area of about 57 acres.

The project is slated for commissioning no later than 2018.
