|AECOM wins U.S. Federal Emergency Management Agency contract valued up to US$150 million|
LOS ANGELES, Jun 01, 2010 (BUSINESS WIRE) --AECOM Technology Corporation (NYSE: ACM), a leading provider of professional technical and management support services for government and commercial clients around the world, announced today that it has been awarded an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract from the U.S. Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) to support its Hazard Mitigation Technical Assistance Program.
AECOM will provide technical services to support the program's response capability for all types of pre- and post-disaster mitigation activities to events such as coastal flooding, tropical cyclones, typhoons, hurricanes, dam and levee failures, wildfires and severe storms or events. The contract includes a one-year base period and four one-year option periods. The maximum contract value is $150 million.

The first two task orders awarded under the contract entail a flood study in Wisconsin and rapid response surveying of high-water marks in Tennessee.
